Abstract

Sand is one of the building materials that is still used today. Sand demand has led to trading, as has happened in Nangawera, Wera, Bima. The coastal area which is basically owned and processed by the state is recognized by local residents and the beach sand is traded. In making the sale and purchase of sand, truck driver/transport workers reduce the sand load without the knowledge of consumers. Based on the background above, the writer takes two formulations of the problem, namely how the practice of beach sand trading in Nangawera, Wera, Bima and how the practice of beach sand trading in the Nangawera on Islamic law perspective. In this study the authors used two data collection techniques, namely field studies and literature studies, then the data obtained were processed using qualitative methods. From the results of this research, it can be seen in the practice of beach sand trading in Nangawera, sellers do not yet have permission from the party authorized to manage coastal areas by the state, so Islamic law considers this transaction to be invalid because the terms of ownership have not been fulfilled. According to Islamic law, reduction carried out by truck drivers/transport workers is seen as something that contradicts the Quran, resulting in the sale of illegitimate purchases because there is no clear balance between price and dose.
