Abstract

PT Entri Jaya Makmur is a hospital furniture manufacturing company and supplier of medical equipment. In the production process PT Entri Jaya Makmur already uses engine power but remains human as its controller. This research was conducted to determine human error and its probability value in the entire production process using the SHERPA and HEART methods. The possibility of human error will be described by the SHERPA tabulation. Assessment of human error is calculated using the HEART method in the form of the value of human error probability (HEP) that occurs in the production process. The results of the study note that there are 26 potential errors from 5 work stations that are divided into 2 types of errors namely 21 error actions and 5 r checking errors. The highest human error probability (HEP) value of 0.30947 is in the welding work station with sub-task notching (cutting in half).
