Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of Javanese in shaping students 'manners in learning of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) in Matesih Vocational High School, which includes (1) planning for the use of Javanese language in forming students' manners in learning PPKn. (2) the implementation of the use of Javanese language in forming students' manners in PPKn learning. (3) evaluation of the use of Javanese language in shaping students' manners in PPKn learning. This research is qualitative - ethnographic. The data sources of this study were the principal, PPKn teachers, and students. The data obtained were then analyzed through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity uses data triangulation. The results of this study can be concluded that (1) planning the use of Javanese language in forming students' manners in learning PPKn through the preparation of RPP by inserting Javanese language as an introduction. (2) the implementation of the use of Javanese language in forming students' manners in PPKn learning is carried out through three stages namely initial activities, core activities, and closing activities. (3) evaluation of the use of Javanese language in forming students' manners in PPKn learning is done through three aspects namely cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects.
