Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Know how much students' knowledge about sexual harassment (2) Know how much students' self-protection skills from sexual harassment (3) Know the relationship between students' self-protection knowledge and skills on teacher knowledge about sexual harassment. This study uses quantitative methods conducted at the Muhammadiyah 16 Primary School in Surakarta with a population of 33 students in grade V and 9 teachers in grade IV and V. Data collection techniques using the questionnaire Personal Safety Question (PSQ) and What If Situation Test (WIST). Data analysis using normality and linearity test, hypothesis testing using multiple correlation. The results showed that: (1) Students 'knowledge of sexual harassment was 78.8% in the good category, while for students' knowledge of appropriate touch was 51.5% in the very good category and student's knowledge of touch was not appropriate by 87.9% in the very good category. (2) Total self-protection skills of students amounted to 69.7% in the good category. (3) There is no relationship between students' knowledge and self-protection skills and the teacher's knowledge about sexual harassment.
