Abstract

Criminal acts of persecution, even not only to cause injuries, but also to the lives of victims. If this is the enforcement officer who must immediately act firmly by punishing the perpetrators of criminal acts of persecution, but to be able to impose a penalty, it is necessary a judicial process whose main point is the prosecution will be conducted by the public prosecutor. Where in the judiciary will be done a proof to prove the perpetrators are completely guilty. One way to prove proof is the presence of evidence. In a criminal offence that causes a loss of life one of the evidence can be used is Visum Et Repertum. " The Visum et Repertum is a written report by the Doctor who has been sworn in on what is seen and found in the evidence in which it is given and also contains the conclusion of the examination to the judicial fullness. The research method is a scientific way to obtain data with specific purpose and usability, so it is a scientific activity, based on certain methods, systematics, and thoughts aimed at learning a Certain legal symptoms by its analytic path, the Visum Et Repertum is used to make the light of a criminal act and is used as an expert proof instrument or letter in the proceedings of the proceeding. Because in a trial it is not possible to bring the victim of a criminal offense, especially for victims who have passed away, by the presence of Visum Et Repertum will expose to give a clear picture How the actual body condition of the victim through the doctor's explanation is conveyed through Visum Et Repertum. A. Gumilang stated explicitly that "the Visum Et Repertum is very important for its use and the line of the court. Visum et Repertum will be very helpful to the judge in his efforts to make light a thing. Visum Et Repertum is a description of an expert physician outside the ability of investigators and judges, the position of Visum Et Repertum in criminal proceedings is in lieu of Corpus Delicti (proof) i.e. the result of a doctor's examination set forth in the Visum et Repertum is a evidence or fact of a criminal offence associated with the body, life and human health that is put in place in a notification that contains the results of the examination made in detail by the doctor The Visum Et Repertum. Because of the impossibility of the prosecution to present victims in a judicial process, the Visum Et Repertum can be a substitute for judicial proceedings. It also helps the public prosecutor to make a light an criminal offence, where the public prosecutor can compare between the results of the Visum Et repertum with the witness information and evidence found, whether witness information and other evidence True to the results of the Visum Et Repertum. Visum Et Repertum does not bind judges, but Visum Et Repertum can strengthen the conviction of judges while other evidence tools are minimal.
