Abstract

A house is a basic human need. There are people who have their own homes, but there are also people who only rent a house for temporary housing. It is undeniable that renting a house has become a natural thing in our society for both individuals and legal entities. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of a lease agreement between a person and a legal entity, to know the form and content of a lease agreement between an individual and a legal entity, and how the legal responsibilities of the parties in a lease agreement between an individual and a legal entity. This research is a descriptive study and normative juridical approach method. The results showed that the lease agreement between the individual and the legal entity is a manifestation of the opening of the contract law. And the legal responsibility of the parties is regarding the rights and obligations of both parties to the agreement, if the rights of the first party are the obligations of the second party and the rights of the second party are the obligations of the first party.
