Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of expressive speech acts and the types of speech acts that are found in the impression of students for Indonesian language internship teachers in SMP Negeri 1 Sambi. The research method used in the study is a qualitative method. The data in this study, namely the impression written by students in the form of phrase words, and sentences. The source of data in this study is the impression written by students. Data collection techniques used by researchers are listening techniques and note taking techniques. The data analysis techniques in this study are the method of distribution and the method of contextual analysis. In this study, researchers found several forms and types of expressive speech acts, namely (1) expressive speech acts complimented; (2) expressive speech acts expressing thanks; (3) expressive acts of speech criticizing; and (4) expressive act of complaining speech acts. (1) direct speech act; (2) speech acts are not literal.
