Abstract

Practical activities are very necessary in learning biology, through these activities students can apply directly to the theories explained by the teacher. As a support for the implementation of practicum activities, the conditions and infrastructure of biology laboratories must meet for each practicum implementation. This study aims to determine the infrastructure and the implementation of biology practicum activities in class XI SMA in 2018/2019 academic year in the District of Kudus Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The sampling technique is population sampling, using the entire population as a sample. The population used in this study was the students of class XI Science with a total of 87 students. Aspects of data collection are the implementation of biological practicum activities, biological laboratory infrastructure. Based on research that has been done, the results obtained indicate that the availability of infrastructure facilities that are able to support the implementation of practicum activities but the time and laboratory personnel constraints hamper the implementation of practicum activities.
