Abstract

Various Islamic laws have been regulated in the Koran which is a guideline for Muslims, including the aspects of the will. In the Koran the word will can be interpreted with different meanings, not just a message that his death will come. The difference is due to the use of the word testament that varies with the context of the problem. An understanding of wills can be analyzed using thematic methods in its assessment, while analysis in studying it uses Van Djik's theory. The purpose of this article is to answer what are the verses that discuss the will. This research is a literature based on the Koran as a primary source and various sources of books. In secondary data sources the method used by the author to obtain the data analyzed by researchers uses the matching technique.
