Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the environment and work motivation on police performance with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The sampling technique was done by purposive sampling and as for the sample in this study amounted to 49 respondents at the Palopo city police. The data used in the study are primary data collected through a questionnaire survey in physical form and google form. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression and intervening variable regression. The results of research with multiple linear regression analysis show that 1) The work environment has a positive influence on job satisfaction of the police profession. 2) Work motivation has a positive influence on job satisfaction of the police profession. 3) The work environment does not have a positive influence on the performance of the police profession. 4) Work motivation has a positive influence on the performance of the police profession. 5) Job satisfaction can mediate the work environment and the performance of the police profession. 6) The work satisfaction of the police profession can mediate between motivation and performance of the police profession. 7) Job satisfaction has a positive influence on the performance of the police profession.
