Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) the influence of Business Work Practices on Work Readiness in Accounting Education Students of Muhammadiyah Surakarta University 2016. 2016 and Work Experience on Work Readiness in Accounting Students of Muhammadiyah University Surakarta Surakarta Class of 2016. This research is quantitative research. The population in this study were all students of Accounting Education University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta Class of 2016, amounting to 315 students. Samples were taken as many as 161 students using the Probability Sampling method. The required data is obtained through a questionnaire and documentation. The questionnaire was tested and tested for validity and tested for reliability. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and Relative and Effective Donations. The results of the regression analysis obtained the regression line equation: Y = 8.912 + 0.579X1 + 0.247X2. The equation shows that work readiness is influenced by Business Work Practices and Work Experience. The conclusions obtained are: 1) Business Work Practices have a positive and significant effect on Work Readiness on students. Based on the t test obtained t count> t table, which is 6.380> 1.975 and the probability value <0.05, which is 0.000 with a Relative Contribution of 80.08% and Effective Contribution of 29.08%. 2) Work Experience has a positive and significant effect on Work Readiness on students. Based on the t test obtained t count> t table, which is 2.737> 1.975 and the probability value <0.05, namely 0.007 with a Relative Contribution of 19.2% and Effective Contribution of 6.92%. 3) Business Work Practices and Work Experience together influence Work Readiness on students. Based on the results of the significance test of multiple linear regression (F test) it is known that Fcount> Ftable, which is 27.777> 3.005 and a significance value <0.05, which is 0.000 with the determination coefficient (R2) 36,00%.
