Abstract

This study aims to describe: 1) Saturday's waste management program at the Muhammadiyah Plus Malangjiwan Elementary School in instilling the character of environmental care and social care. 2) The process of carrying out Saturday's waste at the Muhammadiyah Plus Malangjiwan Elementary School in instilling environmental and social care characters This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive design. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data used is triangulation of techniques and source techniques. Data analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study are as follows 1) In the Saturday waste management program, students get enthusiasm from both school and non-school residents and run well so as to foster a caring attitude towards the environment and social. 2) Saturday's waste implementation process went well with the provision of plastic bags and a temporary garbage collection place in the form of a waste basket.
