Abstract
This research aims to inspect the financial performance of local governments based on the analysis of regional financial ratios. The design of this research is quantitative descriptive research type. The population in this study is the Regency/City of the Ex-Residency of Madiun. The sampling of this research is using saturated sampling method that is sampling research all financial statements in the form of 2014-2018 APBD Report the Regency/City of the Ex-Residency of Madiun consist of 5 regencys and one city. The sample in this study is the financial statements in the form of 2014-2018 APBD Report. The analysis method used in this study are time series, cross sectional, and quantitative descriptive. The results showed that the level of independence of the Regency/City of the Ex-Residency of Madiun was very low. The average effectiveness level is effective, the average efficiency level is efficient, the greater average harmony level is used for operating expenditure. The PAD growth rate experienced a positive average growth rate, the average level of dependence at the moderate level, and the average BUMD contribution rate showed that it received sufficient contributions from the regional companies.
