Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of toilet training methods on the independence of children aged 4-5 years. The design of this study is true experimental. The sample taken from this study is the data of group A children in the Al-Falaah Sambi Integrated Islamic Kindergarten. The population in this study were 15 children from the Zaid group and 15 children from the Zaenab group. Samples of 30 children were taken using simple random sampling technique. Dataon chlidren’s independence are obtained through a questionnaire given to the child’s parents. Data were analyzed using independent sample T-test analysis. Based on the results of the t-test analysis calculation, the t value of 13.813 > t of the label is 2.048 and a significant value of 0,507 > 0,05 is obtained the Ha is accepted anf Ho is rejected. Based on these results it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of toilet training methods on the independence of children.
