Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out 1) forms of school partnerships with parents and 2) the strategy to build a school partnership with parents in PAUD IT Nur Hidayah Surakarta in the 2018/2019 School Year. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. Data on forms and strategies for building school partnerships with parents were collected through observation, and interviews documentation. The subjects of this research were the principal, teachers and parents. Data validation uses source triangulation and technique triangulation. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman analysis. The results showed that 1) the forms of school partnerships with parents in PAUD IT Nur Hidayah Surakarta 2018/2019 School Year, were: parenting, communicating, volunteering, dicision making, and collaborating with community and 2) the strategy in building partnerships in PAUD IT Nur Hidayah Surakarta 2018/2019 School Year, is to make an initial commitment, provide opportunities for parents to get involved, and home visit.
