Abstract

This study was conducted to determine whether there is a connection or relationship between filling leisure time with conduct problems. The subjects of this study were junior high school students who were included in the adolescent age category with criteria for adolescent students classified as borderline and abnormal in conduct problems. Samples obtained for this study were 75 students consisting of 44 male students and 31 female students. Instrument used include the scale of involvement in filling leisure time and the Strength and Difficult Questioner (SDQ). The data analysis technique used is the Spearman-rho correlation to test the relationship between the variables filling leisure time with conduct problems. The results of the analysis show that there is no significant relationship between spending leisure time with condutc problems in adolescents. Based on this study leisure time can not predict conduct problem in adolescent. Keywords: leisure time, conduct problem, adolescent, strength and difficult questioner.
