Abstract

Manufacture of electric power system requires a planning. An evaluation of the calculation of short circuit interruption is indispensable in terms of planning. A short circuit is very often occurs in a system. A short circuit caused due to a carriage-voltage connected to the neutral conductor and is very harmful to electrical equipment that does not have custody or protection because of the current flow is too large. Efforts that can be done is to do an evaluation of the calculation against a short circuit in order to megetahuai the current short circuit could have been flowing in the system and determines the set of systems or proteki on the system. The research discusses the evaluation of the current short circuit calculation of three-phase, two phase, two phase to ground and single phase to ground at the penyulang booth holding 9-BWN Bawen. Pegumpulan data in the form of single line diagrams complete with load data and conducting data done to run a simulation of short circuit on the ETAP Power Station 12.6. The simulation is performed by specifying three point short circuit interruption, in areas closer to the source, the area close to the load and the area between the source with the load. The simulation showed the big three short arushubung phase, two phase, two phase to ground and single phase to ground. The location of the point of interruption is of great influence in the small increase in the event of a short circuit current. The increase in current will be even greater when a short circuit is close to the source.
