Abstract

Research carried out by UKM Reiningi Tofu Manufacturing which is still manually which can cause disruption of the musculoskeletal disorder for workers. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of risk of muscle injury in workers and make suggestions for improvement. This research was completed using 2 methods, the OWAS Method (Ovako Working Analysis System) and the PLIBEL Checklist Method. The results of the study by comparing the two methods obtained 2 activities that need to be improved, namely washing the soybeans after being drained and adding vinegar to the cooked soybean juice starch, with the PLIBEL Checklist method value of 67% and 59% and in the OWAS method included in category 4 immediate repairs or now need to be done. This needs to be improved for 2 activities by making suggestions for improvements at the work station, to minimize the risk of muscle injury to workers.
