Abstract

The purpose of the research is to determine the effect of Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) either partially or simultaneously on Profit Growth in food and beverage companies listed on the Stock Exchange in the period 2014 up to 2018. This research uses secondary data types. The total population of this study is 18 companies. Determination of the sample using purposive sampling technique, so that obtained a sample of 13 companies. The partial test results (t test) in this study indicate that Total Asset Turnover (TATO) has a significant negative effect on earnings growth. Whereas Current Ratio (CR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) have no significant effect on earnings growth. Simultaneous test results (F test) show that all ratios, namely Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Total Asset Turnover (TATO) influence the growth of company profits. The test results of the determination coefficient (R2) show Adjusted R Square of 0.144. this shows that 14.4% of the dependent variable is influenced by independent variables, while the remaining 85.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
