Abstract

This research was carried out in the city of Yogyakarta in 2018 with the object of the study is road. The background of this research was the rampant construction of hotels and malls in the city of Yogyakarta which disrupted existing road traffic. The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the level of road services in Yogyakarta in 2018, (2) to determine the location of malls and hotels in the city of Yogyakarta in 2018, , (3) to analyze spatially the relationship between the level of road services and the construction of malls and hotels in the city Yogyakarta in 2018. The method used in this study is a survey. The sampling method used is Stratified Purposive Sampling which produces nine road segments as the object of research. Primary data collection from Google Earth, check the field, where road data for the city of Yogyakarta will be calculated the service level of the road. Data on the level of road services in the city of Yogyakarta will be analyzed in relation to the location of hotels and malls. The results of the study are 3 types, namely (1) distribution the low level of road service is in the center of Yogyakarta City and the southern part of Sleman, while the high level of road service is in the west of Sleman district and north of Bantul district, (2) distribution hotels and malls in Kota Yogyakarta 2018 is clustered in the center of Yogyakarta and spreads towards the east of Sleman district (3) the level of road services and the location of hotels and malls in the city of Yogyakarta has a negative relationship. The more hotels and malls in the road area, the worse the level of service roads and vice versa.
