Abstract

Bursitis is an inflammation of the bursa that is often caused by trauma or impact on the shoulder. Bursa is a bag containing synovial fluid around the joint and serves to reduce friction between bones and tendons. To determine the implementation of physiotherapy in pain relief, increase the scope of joint motion, and improve functional abilities in the case of Bursitis Shoulder Dextra using modalities Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS), and stretching. After therapy for 3 times the silent pain assessment results obtained there is no pain, tenderness T1 : 2, to T3 : 0, motion pain T1 : 4, to T3 : 2, into the improvement of the scope of joint motion: T1 S= 35-0-55, F= 60-0-25, R(F0)= 15-0-25, to S= 40-0-85, F= 105-0-35, R(F0)= 30-0-60, functional capabilities increase according to Shoulder Pain and Disability Index. Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) can reduce pain in the right shoulder in conditions of bursitis shoulder dextra and stretching can increase the scope of joint motion and functional ability in cases of bursitis shoulder dextra.
