Abstract

Moral development is the effort of a teacher in fostering, guiding, instilling good morals, good behavior related to oneself, other humans, Allah, and the surrounding environment. Moral development is considered more effective if applied to junior high school children because they still need life teaching. In the current condition, there are many fairly serious moral failures such as juvenile delinquency, theft, drinking, and so on. In fact, it is mostly done by the younger generation, especially the younger generation who are still studying at school level. This study aims to describe the application of moral guidance through the habituation of Dhuha prayer and identify the constraints of the application of moral guidance through habituation of Dhuha prayer. The focus of this research is a) The application of moral guidance through habituation of Dhuha prayer b) Obstacles to the application of moral guidance through habituation of Dhuha prayer. This research is a type of qualitative research that uses field studies in SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Surakarta. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation obtained from research results at school. And the analysis carried out by the deductive method is the process of reasoning from several general statements to reach conclusions. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Surakarta, conclusions can be drawn The application of moral guidance through habituation of Dhuha prayer at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Surakarta, which includes: a) The purpose of implementing moral guidance through habituation of Dhuha prayer, b) The scope of moral guidance through habituation. duha prayer, c) Method of moral development. In the application of moral development through habituation of Dhuha prayer has several obstacles, namely the Discipline of students in conducting Dhuha prayers such as: a) In the implementation of Dhuha prayer, there are still many students joking, b) Often there are students who are late entering school so that students must carry out coaching first before performing the Dhuha prayer. c) Missed female students who did not bring mukena. Then the next obstacle is the factor of school facilities such as places of worship and places of ablution.
