Abstract

Back back pain or LBP if left untreated and not treated properly or not treated properly, this can lead to a variety of problems related to can affect the body and cause serious pain such as loss of control when urinating or defecating, coughing sneezing or various other things weaken the nerves that lead to paralysis or extremities of the foot. In Purwodadi Regional General Hospital, the level of LBP is very high so that the hospital is in need of a standard of service for LBP disease in the form of interventions that can reduce the level of LBP. To find out whether there is a difference in the effect of giving Sound Wave Diathermy (SWD) and Massage compared to the provision of Sound Wave Diathermy (SWD) and Ultrasound (US) in reducing pain in Low Back Pain (LBP). This type of research is a quasi experiment in which the samples in the study were conducted in two groups using pre-test post-test control two group design (Sugiyono, 2010). To determine the effect of the administration of SWD and Massage with SWD and US on pain reduction in patients with Low Back Pain (LBP). Independent variables: SWD with Massage and SWD with US. Dependent variable: Low Back Pain (LBP) That there is an influence on the administration of SWD & MASSAGE interventions on the reduction of low back pain in farmers. And from the results of the analysis and calculation of statistical tests administering SWD & MASSAGE there is a decrease in low back pain compared to given intervention by SWD & US.
