Abstract

Current technological developments are very rapid, especially in the field of communication and information. The development of these technologies can be used for various purposes. At this time the community is worried about the safety of its goods such as motorized vehicles. Many cases of motor vehicle theft are still common today. This is due to the lack of a security system in motorized vehicles. The purpose of this study is used to design additional security systems and supervision on motorized vehicles. A combination of software and hardware is needed in designing this security system. The use of this technology is a combination of smartphones, Arduino, and sensors. Arduino is used as a controller of each device used. The security system uses relay modules, Arduino, 4x4 keypad, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) sensors, GPS (Global Positioning System) modules, GSM modules (Global System for Mobile Communication) and smartphones. The RFID sensor and keypad will send data to Arduino which is used for multiple security systems. Arduino will process the data entered and will be used to enable the relay. GPS modules are used here for surveillance systems, while GSM modules are used to connect to smartphone users after data is processed on Arduino. This combination of hardware and software can create a dual security system and supervision on motorized vehicles.
