Abstract

This study aims to: (1) know, test and prove empirically the effect of perceived quality on buying interest in Ella Skincare products, (2) to know, test and prove empirically the effect of risk perceptions on buying interest in Ella Skincare products, and (3 ) know, test, and prove empirically the effect of perceived quality and risk perception simultaneously on buying interest in Ella Skincare products. The population in this study was a Student of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UMS who had never used a product from Ella Skincare. The sample in this study were 150 respondents while the sampling method used purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of this study it is known that perceived quality has a positive and significant effect on buying interest in Ella Skincare products. Risk perception has a negative and significant effect on buying interest in Ella Skincare products. The results of the F test revealed that perceptions of quality and risk perceptions simultaneously and significantly affected the buying interest in Ella Skincare products.
