Abstract

Abstract Without realizing the existence of art and culture of the archipelago began to diminish its existence. Along with the development of the times and the influx of foreign cultures as a result of globalization, the culture of the archipelago as a cultural heritage that has the characteristic of the Indonesian nation began to lose his life. This is where there needs to be a forum that can accommodate and provide appropriate facilities to cultural activists. Surakarta City is one of the cities that routinely holds cultural events. An archipelago cultural gallery will accommodate and provide facilities for cultural activists to hold an event so that cultural events can be centralized and have a comfortable place. In addition, a gallery of archipelago culture can also be used as a place to showcase the works used after the performance. The existence of archipelago cultural galleries will provide a place for cultural activists to develop their talents and works.
