Abstract

Batik is a type of clothing products that have undergone a rapid development in the land of Java since hundreds of years ago. Kampung Batik Laweyan is one of the village center of Batik craftsmen in Solo consisting of several SMEs Batik. Most Batik SMEs perform the traditional production process and cause the environment to be polluted. Research aims to know the demands of customers on the quality of batik products, the environmental impact of the production process and the cost of the producers incurred per day. In the process of batik production can produce environmental impact, such as there are still night wasted and not reused. If the night is collected maximally and reused for production process then the environmental impact can be reduced from 38Pt to 37, 4Pt and the cost of purchasing raw materials is also more efficient than Rp 702,250 to Rp 506,250. In the description of concept comparison House, proposal batik concept has a satisfaction level of 762 and basic batik satisfaction level of 587, so that the proposal batik selected for better product concept
