Abstract

This study aims to describe the views of students in taking part in lecturing skills in scouting in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah Surakarta University, 2018/2019 academic year. This research was conducted in the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education at Muhammadiyah University in Surakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research methods are descriptive research methods, use analysis, discuss data, use existing theories as supporting materials, and produce various theories. The objects in this study were students of the 2nd semester Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program of the Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta Faculty of Education and Education and lecturers of Skills in Developing Scouting. Data collection techniques in this study using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. Observations are made to continue the lecturing activities that take place. Interview with the lecturer lecturer in the Discussion on Opening and Students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program at the 2nd semester of the Teacher Training and Education Faculty of the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta, involving data and photographs of lecture activities. The analysis technique used is the flow model. Flow model analysis techniques in this study include collecting data from observations, interviews and documentation, then reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the implementation of lectures and the perceptions of students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Muhammadiyah University in Surakarta in taking lectures on Skills Building Scouting were very enthusiastic.
