Abstract

Indonesia as one of the developing countries is inseparable from problems related to employment. The employment problem corrected by Indonesia is an increase in the number of the workforce. Indonesia which is a developing country is one of many countries that have problems regarding labor. Efforts to Increase Labor Expenditures can not be separated from the factors that influence it, such as district / city minimum 2 wages, GRDP and Expenditures on Employment Strengthening in Central Java Province in 2014-2017 both partially and simultaneously. This research is a type of research that uses quantitative research. The data used are secondary data of 35 districts / cities in Central Java Province in 2014-2017. The analysis used is panel data regression analysis with Random Effect regression model. Data is processed using Eviews 8. The results of the study show that: 1) The minimum number of provinces that have a positive and significant effect on labor is 0.026603, 2) Effective and significant GRDP is significant for labor at 0.004207, 3) Attractive positive inflation and significant effect on labor displacement of 2216,815. Based on the results of the research taken taken together with the minimum wage variable, PRDB and loans have a positive and significant influence on the workforce in Central Java Province in 2014-2017. Suggestions from this research The government should formulate a wage decision policy to increase work productivity and increase production and increase workers' understanding and welfare. Regarding wage policy will be oriented to the interests of all parties, the Government takes over the driving force of work in Central Java Province can be maximized, one of which is increasing the growth of GRDP in each economic sector. So that it can improve the quality of human resources so that they can form creative and ready-to-use individuals. The government should provide support through policies to allow it to increase workforce in Central Java Province.
