MATHEMATICAL LEARNING EXPERIMENTS WITH DISCOVERY LEARNING STRATEGY AND PROBLEM BASED LEARNING ON THE RESULTS OF LEARNED STUDY FROM LEARNING MOTIVATION OF CLASS VII STUDENTS OF MUHAMMADIYAH 1 SURAKARTA IN 2018/2019. Skripsi. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Muhammadiyah Surakarta university. July, 2019. This study aims et evaluating: (1) their influence of the learning strategies Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning on learning outcomes in mathematics, (2) their influence motivation to learn students on learning outcomes in mathematics, (3) their interaction between learning strategies Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning with motivation learn mathematics. Research this using a design experiment. The population of this study is students of 7th grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. Two Classes were chosen for the sample of this study by cluster random sampling. The first class was treated using a Discovery Learning strategy and the second class was treated using Problem Based Learning strategy. Data collection techniques are carried out with the use of method tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used two-way analysis of variance with unequal cell. Test the prerequisite of normality and homogeneity. Advanced test using Scheffe’s method. Based on the result of the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) there is the influence of the learning strategies Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning on learning outcomes in mathematics, (2) there is the influence motivation learn students on learning outcomes in mathematics, (3) there is no interaction between learning strategies Discovery Learning and Problem Based Learning with motivation learn mathematics.
