Abstract

Abstract In Indonesia, the rainy season and dry season can no longer be predicted, during the dry season, sometimes the rain falls, when the rainy season sometimes the sun's heat appears. So that people who want to hang clothes are worried if the clothes are left by the owner. As a result of unpredictable weather factors, making people confused to hang clothes. When the weather suddenly clouded, the people who left the clothes line became restless, because the clothes that were used to dry wet clothes were still outside the house and there was no information about them, so the clothes that should start to dry become completely dry and smell. To overcome the problem, a prototype IOT telegram based clothesline and NodeMCU ESP32 were developed. This automatic clothesline works when the LDR sensor, raindrop sensor, and clothing sensor detect changes in the surrounding environment. Then the results of the three sensors are processed by the microcontroller node MCU ESP32, which will be used to rotate the clothesline stick out and enter using servo. There is a DHT11 sensor that functions to detect the temperature and humidity of the surrounding environment. Not only that node MCU ESP32 also processes sensors to turn on the drying fan when the clothes are still wet and the clothesline lights through remote control using a telegram application. Data from all sensors read on display on the 20 * 4 lcd display can also be monitored remotely via the telegram application. From the results of testing the prototype above, it is known that all parts of the device can function as planned. Keywords: automatic clothesline, sensor, LCD display, servo, node MCU ESP32
