Abstract
This study aims to describe the interpersonal openness of children with parents of different religions in tolerance to worship. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The method used for data collection is through interviews and literature studies from books and the internet. Sampling The source of data uses primary data and secondary data, primary data, namely data obtained from the results of interviews to informants. While secondary data, data obtained from literature studies read books and the internet or previous research. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, which uses informants who meet the criteria used. The criteria used to select informants are (1) Families with different religions between Children and Parents, (2) Children and Parents who are of different religions live in one house, (3) Children and Parents who are active in worship. Data analysis using interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman. Data validity uses data triangulation and theory triangulation, as data comparison material. The results of this study are that children's openness is needed for parents to realize tolerance of worship in families of different religions. Self-disclosure can be realized in 4 stages. Stage (1) cliché, (2) facts, (3) opinions, and (4) feelings. Tolerance of worship can be realized with 4 indicators. 4 indicators of tolerance, namely, accepting differences in other religious communities, respecting and respecting other religious people, giving freedom to other religious people to worship, and participating in and participating in other religious activities.
