Abstract

This research is in background by the need to improve knowledge about landslide disaster considering that Boyolali district is vulnerable to landslide disaster. This research aims to determine the development and effectiveness of media animation video learning of landslides using an improved formula of learning outcomes. In this study using 3D development model (Define, Design, Development). Data collection techniques in the research by providing pretests and posttest problems as well as the poll of media development learning animation video. Research was conducted at senior high school 1 Cepogo with a research test subject XI IPS Class 1 as the control class and XI IPS 2 as the experimental class. The results of the study indicated that based on the assessment of the material experts obtained an average score of 4.2 which is "good" and the assessment by the media experts got an average score of 4 which is "good". The use of animated video learning media there are differences of learning outcomes between class of experimentation which is class with special treatment using animation video Learning media and control class that the class does not get special treatment ( Conventional learning). Animation video effectiveness is known through improved learning outcomes which control classes have only increased by 36% and while the experimental class gets an increase of 44%.
