Abstract

Research aims to find out kind soft skills to developed on the Accounting Education Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta in subject entrepreneurship practice, to know formation of student soft skill through CTL learning in subject entrepreneurship practice, and to know supporting and inhibiting factors in formation student soft skills during learning entrepreneurship practices in Accounting Education Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta with CTL learning. Types of research used qualitative research with design etnoghraph research. The subjects of research were lecturer subject entrepreneurship practice and student of sixth semester. Technique of data collection were used interviews, observation, and documents. Data analysis through steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Result of the research shows that lecturer of entrepreneurship practice Accounting Education Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta to form soft skill of self-confidence, teamwork, open-minded, forward-oriented, creativity and integrity, and to develop soft skills, lecturer used Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model and learning method with create direct practice groups. Furthermore, supporting factor to forming include used applications of models and approaches by lecturer and supporting by Accounting Education study programs in developing student entrepreneurship skills. while the inhibiting factors are the limited time in teach and learning activities in entrepreneurship practice, There is no laboratory to perform entrepreneurship learning on campus and the lack of collaboration with foreign to campus to display the products of entrepreneurial results of Accounting Education students.
