Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, human development index, government expenditure and diparity on the poverty levels in the Surakarta residency in 2013 – 2017. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The research method used is panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the variable inflation, human development index and government expenditure have a significant influence on poverty levels, while the variable disparity does not have a significant effect on the level of poverty.
