Abstract

This study aims to determine the investigation process in terms of finding a series of criminal acts from suspects and evidence. One of the investigation processes is using the fingerprint method left at the crime scene. The results of the research and discussion that the function of fingerprinting in the investigation process at sragen police station is as an identification but it is also used as one of the tools in the investigation to find suspects. The fingerprint developed by the investigator is a series of evidence. Obstacles in using fingerprints for investigators at Sragen police station, namely human resources, infrastructure and the community.
