Abstract

Social adjustment in adolescents is influenced by various factors, such as self-esteem and peer interaction because it has an important role in increasing social adjustment. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is a relationship between self-esteem, peer interaction with social adjustment in adolescents. Samples taken were 98 students using a sampling technique that was cluster sampling. The method of data collection uses a quantitative approach with measuring instruments in the form of scales namely self-esteem scale, peer interaction scale and social adjustment scale. The analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results showed that the correlation value (r) = 0.357 with significance p = 0.000 which is (p <0.05) which means that there is a very significant positive relationship between self-esteem, peer interaction with adolescent social adjustment.
