Abstract

fracture is a condition where damage can occur in the function and shape of the bone which can be broken in the form of splinters or in the form of a fracture that can injure the psychological or physical. To find out the benefits of Infra Red (IR) and Kinetic Chain Exercise (KCE), in the post Open [Reduction [Internal Fixation (ORIF) condition of the medial malleolus. After being given therapy 5 times, it was found that there was an increase in the strength of the limbs and left leg muscles, the scope of motion of the knee joint and ankle joint sinistra and the decrease in spasm of the leg and left leg muscles while reducing pain. The provision of therapeutic interventions with infra red modalities and kinetic chain exercises can reduce spasm and pain and be able to increase the strength of the muscles, the scope of motion and viscoelastic properties.
