Instagram social media, aside from being a communication tool, can also be used as a means of showing the existence of the users. Instagram is a photo and video sharing application, users can also apply digital filters and disseminate to various social media. In the facilities for uploading photos and videos, users can make impression management by selecting and manipulating photos and videos and the captions to be uploaded. The formulation of the problem contained in this study is how the impression management strategy of Instagram social media users on members of Solo Hijabers. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, while the technique of collecting data uses interviews and observations of the informant’s Instagram account. The subjects in this study were four members of the Solo Hijabers community who were actively using Instagram. The results of the study show that the impression management carried out by members of Solo Hijabers on Instagram is using strategy ingratiation, exemplification, supplication and self-promotion.
