Abstract

At present the need for a source of voltage increases in daily activities. The number of activities carried out outside the home often requires electrical voltage in an emergency. Inverters are one of the electronic devices that function to produce AC (Alternating Curent) voltage with input in the form of DC (Direct Curent) voltage. This study aims to make an inverter that has a voltage source that can be used to power electronic devices used in everyday life. In addition, in the future, DC to AC inverters are expected to play an important role in changing the DC voltage from the latest energy sources such as solar panels that become AC voltages that are often used in daily activities. This inverter uses the pulse witdh modulation (PWM) method as a converter from DC voltage to AC voltage. Toroid transformers that will reduce magnetic flug leakage and the resulting magnetic field will not affect other electronic devices too much. IC (Integrated Circuit) type CD4047 with the addition of several IRFZ44 transistor components that function as the main control. The transistor is turned on and off periodically reversing the current in the transformer. The monitoring system in this inverter circuit uses the Virtual Studio application with a programmed system. Arduino is used to collect several input sensor sources which will then be forwarded to the HC-05 bluetooth module so that it is connected to the application. Monitoring functions to determine the amount of voltage produced. The design of the inverter made shows the voltage generated by the input from DC voltage in the form of batteries and adapters of 12 and 19 volts can produce AC voltage of 210 volts. The test results show that the inverter has a voltage drop when it gets a load of 300 Watts.
