Abstract
Abstract Banjarejo tourist village is a tourist village that combines ancient historical and cultural tourism, the importance of cultural values and knowledge of ancient history will make the tourism potential of the tourist village of Banjarejo. In developing the potential of the village of Banjarejo, of course, it must involve the role of the community, community and other important groups. The concept (Community Based Tourism) that is applied in achieving community-based tourism development is applied in the form of community participation in each activity, the community has an important role in the planning, implementation and impact aspects of the activities. This research was conducted to find out how the process of developing the community-based Banjarejo tourism village potential. So the purpose of this study is to find out and describe the process of developing the community-based Banjarejo tourism village potential. The benefits of this study are to provide a scientific overview of the field of communication science, especially regarding tourism communication. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. informant selection techniques using techniques (purposive sampling). Data collection methods used are in-depth interviews, non-participant observation and documentation techniques. Data analysis used is interactive model from Miles and Huberman which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. This study uses data validation techniques with source triangulation methods.
