Abstract

Millet seeds have a high carbohydrate content as a medium for growing F0 oyster mushrooms and strawberries. The aim of this study was to determine the growth of F0 oyster mushroom seeds (Pleorotus ostreatus) and merang mushrooms (Volvariella volvaceae) in millet seed extract alternative media with different concentrations. This type of research uses an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a factorial pattern consisting of two factors and carried out with 3 repetitions. The parameters measured in the growth of seedlings F0 F0 oyster mushrooms and straw on the media of millet seeds include color, density, time to grow misellium, the diameter of the seedlings of F0 oyster mushrooms and mushrooms. The data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative. Results obtained by growth of seedling mycelium F0 oyster mushrooms and straw mushrooms can be grown on an alternative media of millet seed extract with a concentration of 20% (J2K3) on merang mushrooms.
