Abstract

The aim to be achieved by holding this research is to test and prove empirically the effect of variable liquidity (Current Ratio) and solvability (Debt to Equity Ratio) on changes in earnings in manufacturing companies that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2017. Research this is a quantitative study using secondary data. The population in this study are manufacturing companies that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017. The samples used in this study were 41 manufacturing companies in the industrial sector and manufactured goods industries that have been listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017. Techniques data analysis in this study using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that liquidity (Current Ratio) had no significant effect on earnings changes in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2017. Solvability (Debt to Equity Ratio) had a significant effect on changes in earnings in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017.
