Abstract

Coconut coir is a lignocellulose waste which has a high content of lignin and cellulose as a medium for growing F2 oyster florida seedlings .The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of molasses and liquid water on the growth of F2 oyster mushroom florida ( Pleurotusfloridae ) seedlings on coconut coir planting media.This type of research uses an experimental method with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a factorial pattern consisting of two factors and carried out with 3 repetitions.Factor 1 volume of molasses: 0 ml (M 0 ) , 25 ml (M 1 ) , and 50 ml (M 2 ).Factor 2 volume of liquid water : 0 ml (L 0 ) , 25 ml (L 1 ) , and 50 ml (L 2 ).The parameters measured in the growth of F2 oyster mushroom F2 mycelium include length, thickness and spread of F2 oyster florida F2 seed mycelium .The data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative.The results obtained from the long growth of the fastest F2 seed mycelium were treatedM 0 L 2 (7.83 cm) and M 1 L 2 (8.5 cm)the thickness of the dense mycelium thick and dense deployment evenly, micelle growth iumthe slowest is the treatment of M 0 L 0 (0.6 cm), M 1 L 0 (1.23 cm) and M 2 L 1 (1.93 cm) with the thickness of the mycelium which grows thin and spreads unevenly.
