Abstract

This research aims to know the relationship of parental perceptions of children's motivation to TK Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 01 Kutoarjo, Purworejo. The research design is descriptive correlational. A sample of 92 respondents was taken using a proportional random sampling technique. Data on parental perceptions and motivation were obtained through questionnaires given to parents of students. Data were analyzed using simple correlation and regression analysis. Based on the results of the calculation of correlation analysis obtained coefficient value (rxy) = 0.648 which means there is a strong positive relationship, and a significance level of 0.000. Based on these results it can be seen that there is a significant positive relationship between perceptions of parents with motivation. Based on simple linear regression analysis obtained the effective contribution of 41,9%.
