Abstract

The research aims to describe: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) evaluation and, 4) follow up of the academic supervision in SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono. This research uses a qualitative approach. The presence of researchers in the field as instruments for researchers, , and collecting documents. Data sources for principels, vice principals andobservers in the field as instruments for principals, vice principals, vice principals and chair of competency expertise. Data obtained through interview, observation and documentation. Test the credibility of the data using observer perseverance and triangulation source. Data analysis techniques use interactive modesl of Milles & Huberman there is data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of the research showed that the management of academic supervision in SMK N 1 Banyudono consisted of: 1) Planning, including: the estabilishment of an academic supervision team, making programs, making schedules and preparing ascessment instruments. 2) The implementation of academic supervision includes: socialitation program, observation, and meeting after observation. 3) Evaluation of academic supervision includes: (a) evaluation of activities: 18% get an A, 82% get a B, and still 60% teacher-centered learning, (b) program evaluation, there are 6 supervision programs, there are 2 still achievement programs 90% 4) Follow-up supervi (a) follow-up on activities: giving prizes 5 teachers gathering the fastest learning devices, giving late warnings, holding IHT to improve teaching skills, (b) follow-up academic supervision program: monitoring more intensively on the program the implementation is only 90%.
