Abstract

ABSTRACT Moral Disengagement is the release of one's morality in the real world and then ventured into online games so as to increase the morality of gamers. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of moral disengagement in PUBG players in the 2014 UMS Communication Study Program students. The data sources used were informants, places or events, and documentation. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. The validity test technique used is the triangulation of data sources. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis model. The research method used is qualitative with a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that all players do not feel guilty or sad when killing other characters in the PUBG game.
