Abstract

“Jewawut” seed and brown rice contain of carbohydrate, protein, minerals and relatively high fat as a medium to grow F1 seeds of oyster mushroom and ear mushroom. The objective of this research is to determine the growth of F1 misellium seeds of oyster mushroom and ear mushroom on the media of brown rice and “jewawut” seed from F0 seeds of purple-flesh sweet potato. The method used was a research experiment research with Completely Randomized Design (CRD) 2 factors which done by repeating it triple. The first factor in the type of media : “jewawut” seed (M1) and brown rice (M2). The second factor is the type of F0 seed : F0 seed of oyster mushroom (J1) and F0 ear mushroom seedling (J2). The parameters that is measured is the growth of misellium F1 seeds oyster mushroom and ear mushroom in the media “jewawut” seed which of color, density and rapidity. The technique of analysing data was descriptive quantitative. Based on results,the highest misellium growth seed of oyster mushroom is on the media “jewawut”seed 11,40 cm, the highest growth of mycelium of F1 seed ear mushroom is on the media brown rice 7,17 cm. Meanwhile, the lowest result of the misellium of F1 seed of oyster mushroom is on the meanwhile, the lowest results of the misellium of F1 seed oyster mushroom is on “jewawut” seed 4,76 cm.
