Abstract

Learning can be said to be effective if the teacher uses learning methods that match the material to be delivered. With the use of strategies and learning methods can achieve the planned learning goals. This research was written to describe the effectiveness of the use of demonstration methods in Hajj and Umrah teaching materials in improving student learning success. The type of research used in this study is field research. Data collection methods used are observation, documentation, and tests. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis technique. The results of the research obtained by researchers were the influence in the use of demonstration methods in Fiqh learning, especially the Hajj and Umrah teaching material. Based on the results of the analysis carried out using t_tes obtained from this study, there is a significant influence on the effectiveness of the use of demonstration methods in teaching materials in improving student learning outcomes. This is seen from the results of testing the significant level of data from the pre-test and post-test results. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed t-count of 6.426 and t-table of 2.426 at the level of 1% and t_table of 2.708 at the level of 5%. From the results of t_count and t_tabel, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, because the value of t_count is greater than the value of t_table. The level of effectiveness in the use of demonstration methods in Hajj and Umrah teaching materials at Muhammadiyah 1 Vocational School in Klaten Utara is very effective in the learning process. Based on the ratio of t-count and t-table, which is 2.426 <6.426> 2.708, the hypothesis proposed or made by the researcher is accepted so that there are differences in learning outcomes before and after the implementation of the demonstration method.
