Abstract

by 0.379 or 37.9%, can be accepted other variables not included in the model The purpose of this study was to study emotional intelligence and locus of control on the performance of female santri teaching teachers in the Al Mukmin Sukoharjo Islamic boarding school, two dependent variables on the dependent variable. This type of research is a quantitative study, with the study of all female santri teachers in the Al Mukmin Sukoharjo Islamic boarding school involving 83 teachers as a population, with a sample of 34 people. Sampling uses a simple random sampling technique. The technique of answering research data through a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Based on the results of the calculation of the application of the SPSS program from the t test Obtained a significant emotional intelligence variable with a value of tcount (4.152)> t table (2.037) with p (0,000) <0.05; then Ho is rejected, locus of control is not significant with a value of tcount (0.757) <t table (2.037) with p (0.455)> 0.05; then Ho is accepted. F Test Results Significant probability of 0.001 <0.05 is rejected, so that in this study the independent variables together influence the dependent variable. The coefficient of determination is 0.379 with the variable emotional intelligence and locus of control can explain the variable teacher performance.
